Who Can Apply?

The program is open to:

  • Undergraduate students: Students pursuing diploma and degree certificates in Nigerian universities (both public and private).
  • National Diploma (ND) students: Polytechnic students who have completed their first year.
  • Post-ND graduates: Polytechnic graduates seeking industrial training opportunities.

How to Apply

Interested students can apply for the Nigeria LNG SIWES program by following these simple steps:

  1. Registration: Click on the ‘Register For SIWES’ link on the Nigeria LNG website.
  2. Fill Out the Form: Complete the required fields, including a preferred username and password. Ensure your password includes at least one uppercase letter and a number.
  3. Provide Personal Information: Enter your date of birth, geopolitical zone, and Local Government Area (LGA). The state of origin will be automatically selected based on your geopolitical zone.
  4. Education Details: Add your educational institution, including the start date and current date as the end date. Select the country, state, and town of your school. For the grade, choose N/A (not applicable).
  5. Attachments: Upload necessary documents, such as:
    • SIWES letter from your school
    • Passport photograph
    • School fees receipt
    • School ID card
  6. Submit Application: After filling in all the details and attaching the required documents, check the box to release your profile information and click ‘Send application now’.
